Welcome to Momentum 18 Branding, a leading Swiss style font foundry and boutique branding studio with over 20 years of experience. Momentum 18 began as a full service advertising agency in the early 2000s. Today, as boutique branding studio, the focus is on campaign project work and rebranding—offering both design and copywriting. The foundry and branding studio are led by Matt Chansky, award-winning type designer and Creative Director. With a core philosophy of constantly pushing towards the elite, Matt, on his own, has won many design awards alongside the world's biggest ad agencies and is featured in design inspiration books. From print ads, billboards, and videos to event booths, package design, and logo redesigns – and all points in between – chances are we've done it (well).

A few words about type design—designing font families for the masses teaches one about craft on the highest level; this focus on quality adds another layer to branding design. Momentum 18, in conjunction with Matt Chansky, is a Monotype® and Microsoft®-approved font foundry, specializing in high-end, digital-first Swiss-style fonts. In today's marketing landscape, there is an increased focus on digital transformation–and often, legacy fonts do not hold up. Our fonts aim to future proof our users and clients. These typefaces deliver clean, modern aesthetics with exceptional legibility across all digital platforms. But hey, there's no pressure to use our fonts in your branding projects, in fact, many of our clients are well-known brands and already have defined their typography.
